About Us

Welcome to Nurse Shift Essentials!!!

I did not become a nurse because it was easy. I became a nurse because something in me could not look away from people who were hurting.

My journey started as a CNA, doing the work that often goes unseen but teaches you everything. I learned what tired really feels like. I learned how heavy a body can feel when you are helping someone turn in bed. I learned how much dignity matters when a person cannot care for themselves. I learned that sometimes the smallest act — a warm blanket, a gentle voice, a hand to hold — is the thing a patient remembers.

I kept going. I became an LPN in 2014, then an RN in 2017. I worked home health, dialysis, telemetry, emergency care, and interventional radiology. Each place changed me. Each patient taught me something. Each shift took something out of me, and somehow, nursing still gave me purpose.

What Nursing Has Taken — and Given

I have walked into rooms where families were praying for more time. I have held hands in the quiet hours when fear was louder than words. I have gone home with aching feet, a full heart, and a mind that would not turn off. I have cried in the car, wiped my face, and shown up again.

Nursing teaches you how to be strong, but it also teaches you how often strong people are running on empty. We carry grief, pressure, responsibility, frustration, love, and exhaustion — sometimes all in the same shift. And still, we keep showing up. We keep answering call lights. We keep explaining one more time. We keep giving pieces of ourselves because someone needs us.

Why Nurse Shift Essentials Means Something to Me

That is why Nurse Shift Essentials is personal to me. This is not just a store. It is not just products. It is my way of saying, “I see you,” to the nurse packing her bag before another twelve hours. To the new grad trying not to fall apart. To the night-shift nurse driving home while the rest of the world is waking up. To the nurse who gives everything and still wonders if anyone notices.

I built this from the floor, from the real moments nurses live every day. The lost pens. The heavy pockets. The badge reel that breaks at the worst time. The little things that seem small to everyone else but can make a hard shift just a little easier.

Every item I choose comes from knowing what it feels like to need something dependable when there is no time to search, no extra hand, and no room for one more thing to go wrong.

My hope is that when a nurse finds Nurse Shift Essentials, she feels more than prepared. I hope she feels understood. I hope she feels remembered. I hope she feels like someone who has stood where she stands cared enough to build something with her in mind.

For the Ones Who Keep Showing Up

If you are a nurse, this is for you — for every shift you survived, every patient you carried home in your heart, every moment you wanted to quit but did not, and every day you chose to care anyway. Nurse Shift Essentials was made by a nurse who understands what it costs to show up — and who believes you deserve to feel cared for, too.
